Privacy Policy

This describes the site as it works today, which is unusual and worth reading. Perverted World currently has no server-side database. Your account, your comments and your ratings are stored in your own browser and never leave your device. This section will need rewriting the day a backend is connected — see "What changes when we add a server" below.

Who we are

Perverted World is run by two independent developers, Pervert World and ExTx, distributing their own games. There is no company behind it and no third party we sell anything to.

What we collect today

Everything below is stored using your browser's local storage. It stays on the device you are using. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone else on a different device.

Age confirmation — a single flag recording that you passed the 18+ gate. Your date of birth itself is checked and then discarded; it is never stored.
Account details — the username, email address and password you enter when registering, plus optional profile fields such as your bio, avatar and banner.
Your activity — comments, replies, likes, ratings, profile posts, the games you follow, and notifications addressed to you.
Supporter access — a record of which games your account has early-access to.

Because there is no server, passwords are stored as you typed them, in your browser, without hashing. Do not reuse a password here that you use anywhere else. This is the first thing that changes when the backend is added.

What we do not collect

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting, and no selling of anything to anyone. We do not know how many people visit the site or which pages they read.

Fonts and icons

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and its icons from jsDelivr. Requesting a file from those services exposes your IP address to them, as any request to any server does. We pass them nothing else about you. If that matters to you, both can be self-hosted, and we are open to doing so.

Payments

Where a paid unlock is offered, payment is handled entirely by a third-party payment provider. Your card details go to them, never to us — we only ever learn that a payment succeeded and for which game.

Pledges made on Patreon or SubscribeStar are governed by those platforms' privacy policies.

Your data, your control

Since everything lives in your browser, you hold it directly:

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain deletes your account and everything attached to it, permanently and immediately.
Your profile page lets you edit or remove anything you have posted.
Using a different browser or device gives you a blank slate — nothing follows you across devices.

There is nothing for us to delete on request, because we hold nothing.

What changes when we add a server

We are being explicit about this because it is a genuine change in what you are agreeing to. Once the site has a database:

Your account, comments and ratings will be stored on our server so that other people can see them — which is the whole point of adding one.
Passwords will be hashed and will never be readable, by us or anyone.
Normal server logs (IP address, timestamp, browser) will exist, as they do for any website.
You will be able to request deletion of your account and its data by writing to us.

This page will be updated before that happens, and the date at the top will tell you when.

Children

This site is for adults only and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly hold data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us.
